PARC Home Care (“PARC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.
This policy applies to information collected through our website, our billing and payment communications, and our text message (SMS) program. It supplements — and does not replace — our Notice of Privacy Practices under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which governs how we handle your protected health information.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact information — name, mailing address, email address, and mobile or landline telephone number.
- Billing and account information — invoice numbers, service dates, balances owed, and payment status. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; PARC does not store your full card or bank account numbers.
- Health-related information — information relating to the home care services we provide. This is protected health information (PHI) and is handled in accordance with HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
- Website usage information — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and similar technical data collected automatically when you visit our website.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, coordinate, and manage home care services;
- Send invoices, payment reminders, and secure payment links;
- Process payments and maintain billing records;
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support;
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and accreditation obligations;
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website.
3. Text Message (SMS) Program
PARC Home Care operates an SMS program to deliver invoices, payment reminders, and account-related messages to patients and responsible parties.
Consent
You may opt in to receive text messages from PARC Home Care by providing your mobile number verbally during patient intake, billing setup, or a subsequent conversation with our staff, and confirming that you agree to receive text messages at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or services from PARC Home Care.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You will generally receive messages only when an invoice is issued or a balance remains outstanding — typically no more than three (3) messages per invoice.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. PARC Home Care does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply.
Opting Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which no further texts will be sent to that number. To resume messages, reply START. For help, reply HELP or call us at (248) 328-2939.
Opting out of text messages ends text communication only. It does not cancel, reduce, or forgive any outstanding balance, and we may continue to contact you by mail, email, or telephone regarding your account.
Mobile Number Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data are subject to the sharing described in this policy. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with the messaging service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages you have requested.
PARC Home Care does not use your telephone number for marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your telephone number to anyone.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers. We work with vendors who perform services on our behalf — including payment processing, text message delivery, mail delivery, and IT support. These vendors receive only the information needed to perform their function and are contractually obligated to protect it. Where those vendors handle protected health information, we maintain Business Associate Agreements as required by HIPAA.
- Treatment, payment, and health care operations. As permitted or required by HIPAA and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to respond to a government or regulatory request.
- Protection of rights. When necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of PARC Home Care, our patients, or others.
5. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Payment transactions are processed through PCI-compliant third-party processors over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal and billing information for as long as necessary to provide services, resolve outstanding balances, and comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory retention obligations. Medical records are retained in accordance with applicable Michigan and federal requirements.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You may:
- Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP;
- Request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you;
- Exercise the rights described in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices with respect to your protected health information, including the right to request restrictions on certain uses and disclosures;
- Ask questions about this policy by contacting us using the information below.
Residents of certain states may have additional rights regarding their personal information. Contact us to exercise those rights.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. Information about minor patients is collected in the course of providing care and is handled under HIPAA.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website and messages may contain links to third-party sites, including our payment processor. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: August 15, 2026
Last Updated: August 15, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PARC Home Care website, our online payment portal, and our text message (SMS) program. By using our website, paying an invoice online, or participating in our SMS program, you agree to these Terms.
1. Text Message (SMS) Program Terms
Program Description
PARC Home Care operates an SMS program that sends invoices, secure payment links, payment reminders, and related account messages to patients and responsible parties who have consented to receive them. This is a customer care and billing program. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How to Opt In
You may opt in by providing your mobile number to PARC Home Care staff verbally during patient intake, billing setup, or a later conversation, and confirming that you agree to receive text messages at that number. Consent is not a condition of receiving care or services from PARC Home Care.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your account activity. You will generally receive messages only when an invoice is issued or a balance remains outstanding — typically no more than three (3) messages per invoice.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. PARC Home Care does not charge a fee for these messages. Charges from your mobile carrier are your responsibility. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent to that number. To start receiving messages again, reply START.
Opting out ends text communication only. It does not cancel, reduce, or forgive any outstanding balance. We may continue to contact you by mail, email, or telephone about your account.
How to Get Help
Reply HELP to any message, call us at (248) 328-2939, or email info@parchomecare.com.
Supported Carriers and Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier’s network and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered. Failure to receive a text message does not relieve you of responsibility for an outstanding balance.
Changes to Your Mobile Number
If you change or deactivate the mobile number on file with us, you agree to notify PARC Home Care promptly so that messages are not sent to a number you no longer control.
2. Online Payments
Payment links we send direct you to a secure page hosted by our third-party payment processor. That processor handles your card or bank information; PARC Home Care does not receive or store your full payment credentials.
You are responsible for ensuring that the invoice number and amount shown match your records before submitting payment. Payments are generally applied to your account within one to two business days. If you believe a payment was applied in error, contact us at (248) 328-2939.
Your use of the payment page is also subject to the payment processor’s own terms and privacy policy.
3. Billing and Balances
Invoices reflect amounts due after any applicable insurance adjustments and payments. Balances remain due regardless of the communication method used to notify you, and regardless of whether you have opted out of text messages.
If you dispute a charge or believe an invoice is inaccurate, contact our billing office at (248) 328-2939 or info@parchomecare.com so we can review your account.
4. Use of Our Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or use it in a way that could damage or impair the site or another user’s use of it.
Content on our website is provided for general informational purposes and is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified health care provider.
5. Intellectual Property
The content, design, logos, and materials on our website are owned by PARC Home Care or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute them without our written permission.
6. Third-Party Services
Our website and messages may link to third-party services, including our payment processor and messaging providers. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our website and messaging services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PARC Home Care is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, payment portal, or SMS program, including damages resulting from delayed or undelivered messages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Privacy
Your use of our website and SMS program is also governed by our Privacy Policy, set out above on this page. Our handling of protected health information is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of our website or SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
